1. Applicability
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders via our website's online shop ctn.academy.
2. Contractual partner, customer service

3. Code of Conduct
We are set on putting into practice the Trusted Shops code of conduct. This is the respective URL:

4. Conclusion of a contract
When products are displayed in the online shop, we provide a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items.
A contract is concluded when you book and confirm your order via the booking button for the respective course, subscription, or service.
After submitting the order, you will receive an email confirmation.
A valid contract requires that the booking process has been completed in full.
5. Due date
For most courses, a one-time course fee is payable.
The agreed course fee is due upon purchase.
For recurring subscriptions, the first fee is payable immediately, and subsequent monthly fees are charged on the same calendar day as the original purchase.
For paid webinars, the course price becomes due upon registration.
We reserve the right to cancel webinars for organizational reasons; in such cases, fees already paid will be refunded.
6. Payment
Payment is made in advance via Stripe (credit card, SEPA direct debit, etc.), Mollie, or PayPal.
We offer subscriptions, offline classes, and live classes; payment details may vary depending on the booking.
7. Termination
One-time purchases:
No cancellation is required. These courses grant time-limited or perpetual access, as described in the product details.
Private classes:
Private classes must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
If cancelled later, the session cannot be refunded.
Memberships & subscriptions:
Memberships and subscription plans may be cancelled monthly, without minimum term unless otherwise stated.
Cancellations become effective at the end of the current billing period.
Fees already paid for the current billing month cannot be refunded.
Cancellations may be submitted via email or, if available, through the account dashboard.
8. Unilateral Termination
We reserve the right to cancel or terminate any contract at any time without providing reasons.
All fees already paid will be refunded in such cases.
Further claims are excluded.
9. Observance and protection of copyrights and trademarks
Documents, materials, and media (e.g., graphics, written materials, audio files, podcasts, video files) provided as part of a course or via online access are protected by copyright.
Logos and brand names contained in these materials are also protected.
Participants may use these materials only within the expressly permitted scope of their course participation.
It is not permitted to:

make personal recordings of classes or sessions,

share materials with third parties,

publish, distribute, or reproduce course content,

encourage unauthorized use by others.
This applies even after participation has ended.
Files and documents may be accessed and printed solely for personal study.
Video downloads are not permitted unless explicitly stated.
Recordings and other materials may only be accessed via our platform unless a download option is explicitly offered.
If sessions are recorded, the host will announce this in advance.
If you leave your camera on or actively participate (e.g., speaking), you consent to being included in the recording.
Recordings may be made available to participants for learning purposes.
For publicly used materials, we will delete your contributions upon request when reasonable.
10. Confidentiality of the access data
Every participant is obliged to keep their special access data (user name and password) for their individual use only secret and not to pass them on to third parties. At the participant's request, the access data will be deleted at any time or replaced with another code.
11. Own provision of suitable IT infrastructure and software
Participants are responsible for providing suitable internet access, hardware, telecommunications equipment, and required software (e.g., browser, PDF reader) and use them at their own expense responsibility and at their own risks.
We take reasonable measures to ensure stable availability of all online services.
However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., internet outages).
Such interruptions do not entitle participants to refunds or fee reductions.
12. Changes to the conditions of participation
We reserve the right to modify these terms by deletion, replacement, or addition.
Participants will be notified of any changes.
You may object within fourteen days of receiving the notification.
If no objection is received, the changes are deemed accepted.
13. Education, qualification and legal classification
Our in-person courses and workshops are classified as educational measures for professional development and are therefore exempt from VAT in accordance with § 4 No. 21 a) bb) of the German VAT Act (UStG).
Our online offerings — including on-demand materials, livestreams, and digital resource access — are not considered certified educational programs and are therefore subject to VAT. They do not fall under the scope of the BGH ruling of 12 July 2024 (III ZR 109/24), as they do not constitute distance-learning courses within the meaning of the German Distance Learning Act (FernUSG).
All online services are intended solely as supplementary, non-certifying resources for individual practice and do not include any binding learning objectives or performance assessments.

15. Cancellation policy
Below you will find instructions on the prerequisites and consequences of the statutory right of cancellation. Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal.

Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (CTND, Forststraße 51a, 70176 Stuttgart, support[at]ctnd.de) by means of a clear declaration (e.g., email).
You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal notice before the fourteen-day period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw, all payments will be refunded within fourteen days from the day the withdrawal notice is received.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
No fees will be charged for the refund.

16. Contract text storage
We do not store the full contract text.
You may print or save the contract details yourself before completing your purchase.
17. Emails
Please note we will retain the right to send you emails about our offer, once you have registered in our system. These will be especially to inform you about time changes or cancellations, but we might also occasionally (e.g. once every month) let you know about future offers. If you don't want this please send us a note.
If you have subscribed to our other, regular newsletter please refer to our privacy and data protection to review the handling via mailchimp or via our own website respectively. This regular newsletter will be send out up to four times a month.
18. Contract language
English is the language available for the conclusion of contracts.
19. Notification
We reserve the right to notify you about important changes to our terms and services on the website.
20. Cancellation Policy for In-Person Courses
These cancellation terms apply to all in-person courses, workshops, seminars, and training events conducted at a physical location (“in-person courses”).
1. Cancellation by the Participant

Free cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the course begins.

For cancellations made 29 to 10 days before the course begins, a 50% cancellation fee applies.

For cancellations made less than 10 days before the course begins, or in the event of a no-show, the full course fee is due.
2. Rebooking / Substitute Participants

Instead of cancelling, you may nominate a substitute participant free of charge up to 10 days before the course begins.

If no substitute participant is provided and no timely cancellation is made, the applicable cancellation fees remain in effect.
3. Cancellation or Changes by the Organizer
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule in-person courses for important reasons (e.g., insufficient number of participants, force majeure, illness of the instructor).
In such cases, fees already paid will be fully refunded, or an alternative date will be offered.
No further claims may be asserted.
4. Legal Notice
Consumer withdrawal rights under German law may not apply to in-person courses with a fixed date of performance.
These cancellation terms supplement statutory regulations and provide planning reliability for all parties.
